The Dust Mass of Supernova Remnants in M31

چکیده

Abstract The dust temperature and mass of the supernova remnants (SNRs) in M31 are estimated by fitting infrared spectral energy distribution calculated from images Spitzer/IRAC4 MIPS24, Herschel/PACS70, 100, 160, Herschel/SPIRE 250 350 μ m bands. Twenty SNRs with relatively reliable photometry exhibit an average 20.1 − 1.5 + 1.8 K, which is higher than surrounding indicating heating effect explosion. these ranges about 100 to 800 M ⊙ , much bigger Milky Way. On other hand, this yields surface density ${0.10}_{-0.04}^{+0.07}$?> 0.10 0.04 0.07 pc −2 half area, implies that destroyed temperature, radius, thus all demonstrate studied old very likely snowplow or even fade-away phase because limitation far distance observation resolution M31, results can serve as a reference final explosion on dust.

Supernova Remnants in the Magellanic Clouds III: An X-ray Atlas of LMC Supernova Remnants

We have used archival ROSAT data to present X-ray images of thirty-one supernova remnants (SNRs) in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). We have classified these remnants according to their X-ray morphologies, into the categories of Shell-Type, Diffuse Face, Centrally Brightened, Point-Source Dominated, and Irregular. We suggest possible causes of the X-ray emission for each category, and for indi...

Supernova Remnants in the Magellanic Clouds. Vi. the Dem L 316 Supernova Remnants

The DEM L 316 system contains two shells, both with the characteristic signatures of supernova remnants (SNRs). We analyze Chandra and XMM-Newton data for DEM L 316, investigating its spatial and spectral X-ray features. Our Chandra observations resolve the structure of the northeastern SNR (Shell A) as a bright inner ring and a set of " arcs " surrounded by fainter diffuse emission. The spectr...

Neutron Stars in Supernova Remnants

In the following, we shall briefly summarize some facts and ideas concerning the presence of neutron stars in Supernova remnants. While sources similar to the Crab Nebula require the presence of a central energetic object, shell-type remnants such as Cas A are compatible with the presence of neutron stars releasing a weak relativistic wind. Supernova remnants are usually classified into two ext...

Supernova Remnants in Molecular Clouds

Massive (>∼8 M ) stars may end their lives in the molecular clouds in which they were born. O-type stars probably have sufficient photoionizing radiation and wind power to clear a region > 15 pc in radius of molecular material. Early B stars (B1–B3 on the main sequence, or 8 − 12 M stars) are not capable of this and may interact directly with molecular gas. Molecular clouds are known to be clum...

Magnetohydrodynamic turbulence in supernova remnants

We present estimates of the angular power spectra of the synchrotron radiation intensity fluctuations at 6 and 20 cm for the shell type supernova remnant Cas A and the filled-centre Crab supernova remnant. We find that the intensity fluctuations of both sources have a power law power spectrum with index −3.24 ± 0.03. This power law power spectrum is consistent with the magnetohydrodynamic turbu...
